Centre of gravity is where all of the weight of an object is concentrated. This point can be inside the object or some point outside. Mass is how we measure the amount of matter in something. The more massive something is, the more of a gravitational pull it exerts. As we walk we constantly feel the gravitational pull on and we automatically pull back. Earth is obviously much more massive than we are so the pull from us will not move the Earth. However, the pull from the Earth is sufficient to move us. In addition to the dependence on mass, gravity also depends on how far you are from something. This is why we are able to stay on Earth rather than be pulled in the direction of the Sun, which has much more gravity than the Earth. Although this scientific jargon may not make any sense to some of us, it is a fantastic starting point for our study of emotional gravity. You see, we have an emotional centre of gravity in the same way that objects have a physical centre of gravity
