Purpose is such an important thing! A life without purpose leaves us feeling very lost and a life lead with purpose will completely satisfy and fulfil us. It is interesting to see the incredible contrast between a woman who is living a life of purpose and a woman who is not! My desire is that you all live a life of purpose. We were all designed to be a certain way and to do certain things. God made us for a purpose and when we live fulfilling that purpose we are content because we are doing what we were made to do.  That leaves us with one big question! How do I find my purpose?  This is a common question with no precise answer. Finding your purpose is a very personal journey that varies from person to person, but I do have a few tips that might point you in the right direction. What a privilege for me to be able to record another worship CD with my wonderful husband and my lovely Lorah along with the rest of D7 Band - a memory we made together that I will treasure forever!  We had a fantastic time recording our new album, In the Stillness, and I am really looking forward to sharing it with you as soon as it's becomes available.  In the meantime enjoy a silly video clip from us at the studio at hear a sneak preview of 'Show Me'!

Eric preached a fantastic message at church that really got me thinking about something that I have never thought about before!  His message was called Love & Respect.  It was a very simple message based on Ephesians 5:33 "Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband." I have so often mentioned how I need to be loved to Eric, going to great lengths to explain how it makes me feel.  When my heart is full I feel powerful, beautiful and courageous!  Nothing can stop me.  But, when my heart is empty and I don't feel loved I feel weak and feeble and quite useless.  I reach a different sort of low when my heart is empty and I don't feel Eric's love for me.  Over the years I have gone to a lot of trouble to explain this to Eric so that he knows how much I need and depend on his love.  Eric has done a great job of trying to understand the need that I have for lov...

Following on from Marriage Tip #11 - Discuss Expectations , I wanted to mention the importance of having reasonable expectations of each other. Discussing your expectations is one thing but trying to make your husband be just like you is another.  Sadly many people cross the fine line between the two and feel that their husband should be exactly as they want him to be. I have heard of some wives expecting their husband to wash the dishes a certain way, just like they do.  To be honest, who cares as long as the dishes are clean and packed neatly in the cupboard.  Be grateful that he washes the dishes, some husbands don't. Men and women are totally different and on top of that each person is totally different from the next.  In marriage it is easy to be annoyed and frustrated by our differences and many wives attempt to CHANGE their husband to suit them.  This is our nature, I am sure we have all done this at some point, perhaps some more than others.  A gr...
