All Your Life

Last week Lorah and I had the most amazing morning together at All Your Life in Cheltenham. Let me start at the very beginning! We arrived at the beautiful reception and were whisked away into the lounge where we were given a glass of bubbly. This is the before photo!

Before...

Then we were invited to use the Fat Burning Room to experience the Vibrating Power Plates! Well, there is no photo of this as I really don't want you to see all my fat wobbling about. It's was fun but at the same time I could really feel the plates working my muscles. You are shown a chart with various exercises that you can do on the plates to target particular muscle groups or you can just stand on the plates and giggle! Mostly, Lorah and I just giggled. We were then take to the fishy room our fish pedicure. I honestly didn't know that I would have such a problem with putting my feet in the tank. Usually I am up for trying just about anything, but when it came to the crunch, I found it difficult to put my feet in a tank full of fish. After some shrieking and splashing, I rested my heal in the tank and got used to the idea. After some time, it began to feel like my kitten licking my feet so in my mind I visualised my kitten and not the fish. Slowly but surely, my feet went into the water and I allowed the fish to eat off all the dead skin. After a few minutes I got used to it and began to enjoy the pedicure. However, Lorah never did manage to get her feet in the tank, she giggled and shrieked most of the time, so she still cannot say that she has had a fish pedicure! Here are our feet being eaten by lots of little fish, well actually mine only - notice where Lorah's feet are.

What happened next was the best thing EVER! We were taken through to the Medical Massage Beds.  There are no words to describe how wonderful these beds are.  We lay in a candle lit room with beautiful fragrances all around.  As I lay on the bed (fully clothed just in case you are wondering) I felt it warm up on my lower back, shoulders and calves and then little studded rubber pads began vibrating, systematically working from my neck and shoulders down to my feet.  It was so unbelievably relaxing and we were even provided with soft fluffy blankets that we could snuggle under if we wanted to sleep.  I snuggled under a blanket and was so disappointed when our half an hour was up.

We were then collected by our own private Make-up Artists and Beauty Therapist for our make-over.  We had our hair, nails and make-up done and left for the studio feeling like new women.

Our photographer was so lovey and made us feel natural in front of the camera.  Here are some sneeky photos of him in action.

After three wardrobe changes and many poses and props, we were whisked away yet again for a lovely lunch which we ate while viewing our photos. Of course, we giggled all the way through it and were then faced with the choice of narrowing down which ones we would keep. Below are some of the many photos from our fantastic day at All Your Life, Cheltenham. I highly recommend you go along and enjoy a fun filled pamper experience yourself. And, one very fortunate King's Daughter will get to enjoy all this for free! Enter the raffle below.

For Such a Time As This

Hello King's Daughters, It's been a while since I've been in touch and King's Daughters has been very quiet, in fact totally dormant.  During this time of dormancy, a seed has been growing inside of me and it's so strong that I have to seriously consider if it's God saying "It's time".  Time to start taking back what the enemy has stolen from us. Time to fight for our families, schools, churches, communities and nation. Time to pray together and be proactive, not reactive to what is going on in the world today. Time to talk about the complex topics that our churches may not be ready to discuss openly such as gender confusion and mental health issues. Time to learn how to generate an income or second income by using what's in our hands and to have extra to be generous to the world around us as we face economic uncertainty.  Time to find balance when everyone else is consumed by busyness. I have a story to tell, a struggle I've been through t...
