Princess Jordan

My lovely 15 year old daughter got right on the case the second I Blogged about Human Trafficking!  She created this gorgeous picture for her FaceBook page and challenged all her friends to do the same.  It's amazing what can be done if people pull together - we really can make a difference one small step at a time.  Have you done something creative too to support this cause?  Let us know about it in the comment box below.

    Yes indeed, Princess Jordan. As your poster shows - we are ALL King's daughters . These precious girls, not yet of an ''accountable'' age, break The Lord's heart. May He forgive us for such suffering and abuse. May He raise up wise and dedicated labourers to bring this awful business to ruin.

Nature's Way - Hair Colouring

Good news for those of you living in the EU but sadly bad news for my USA friends.  Europe is well ahead of the USA in its responses to potentially dangerous chemicals in health and beauty products. On 1st December 2007 a ban was imposed on 22 hair dye substances issued by the European Commission.  These ingredients had been linked to bladder cancer in a 2001 University of Southern California study.  Günter Verheugen, the European Commission Vice-President, said, "Substances for which there is no proof that they are safe will disappear from the market.  Our high safety standards do not only protect EU consumers, they also give legal certainty to the European cosmetics industry."
