Raindrops on roses & whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles & warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things...

Here are a few of my favourite things:

Smell of fresh laundry dried in the sunlight
Giggling babies & toddlers with delight
Playing piano & loudly I sing
These are a few of my favourite things

Warm roaring fires on cold winter nights
Beech sand, umbrellas, buckets & kites
Autumns bright colours & flowers in spring
These are a few of my favourite things

It's a great way to feel happy,
just ponder on the simple things in life that bring you joy.

    Skinny jeans, long tops and old leather shoes.
    Dancing and singing and crazy new moves.
    Cardigans, skirts, my brand new black leggins,
    theses are a few of my favourite things.

    When your dead broke.
    When your jeans rip.
    When life aint to "rad"
    I simply remember my favourite things,
    and then I don't feel so bad.

    Birds and Butterflies
    Bees and Beetles
    The smell of fresh air in a cat's fur when it comes inside the house from outside.
    The smell of fresh ground coffee.
    Daffodils and sweetpeas.
    Sunshine and blue sky.
    Crisp autumn leaves.
    Warmth.
    Friendship.
    The stars on a clear night with no light polution.
    I could go on but then it wouldn't be a 'few' of my favourite things.

    Smiling faces, kind words, Hugs that don't end
    Chatting, spending time with family and friends
    reminiscing over memories, photos galore
    These are the things that I'm thankful for.

    A drive through the forest, a walk by the river
    A picnic. surprise flowers when they are delivered
    Laughter, singing, when music rings
    These are a few of my favorite things

For Such a Time As This

Hello King's Daughters, It's been a while since I've been in touch and King's Daughters has been very quiet, in fact totally dormant.  During this time of dormancy, a seed has been growing inside of me and it's so strong that I have to seriously consider if it's God saying "It's time".  Time to start taking back what the enemy has stolen from us. Time to fight for our families, schools, churches, communities and nation. Time to pray together and be proactive, not reactive to what is going on in the world today.
